Hannah Bigeleisen is an artist and designer living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Hannah founded her studio in 2016 after obtaining her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her studio practice is influenced by theories of visual perception and patterns found in architecture, language and everyday structures. She creates sculptures, paintings, and works on paper.
In 2019 Hannah founded her design practice with a new collection of sculptural lighting objects which debuted at Brooklyn Designs at the Navy Yard. Her design work has been published in Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Design Milk and Sight Unseen. She has collaborated with designers Blluemade on their AW2019 campaign, and Steven Bukowski for an immersive installation and series of furniture, Camouflage at Sight Unseen in 2018.
